How Many Furu-e-Deen in Shia Ithna Ashri (Fiqa Jafria) Islam? (Obligatory Acts)

Shia, Athina, Ash’ari (Fiqh Jafria) Islam has a total of ten (10) branches (Furu-e-Deen) of religion, which are obligatory upon every Muslim.   5. Khums: Khums is the payment of 20% of the income, which is also applicable to items that are used more frequently annually, one-time ownership items, guests coming to the house, the birth of a child, and other things.
  6. Jihad: Fighting against oppression and injustice is obligatory for every Muslim without any doubt. Furthermore, the consent of the parents is also obligatory. There are many types of Jihad; it is not necessary to fight with the sword or guns according to the current era. Jihad can also be done with a pen and knowledge.
  7. Amr bil Ma’ruf: Amr bil Ma’ruf means always calling good things good, correcting people for good things, praising good deeds, and adhering to one’s right stance.
  8. Nahi Anl Munkar: Nahi ‘Anl Munkar means always calling wrong things wrong, always preventing people from doing wrong things; the act of always keeping people away from wrong things is called Nahi ‘Anil Munkar.
  9. Tawalla: Tawalla means to love and have firm faith in Allah, the Prophet (PBUH), the Ahlul Bayt (A.S) and their friends.
  10. Tabarra: Tabarra means to consider the enemies of Allah, the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and the Ahlul Bayt (A.S) as your enemies.
